Questions about high capacity batteries
How do I know what size battery I need?
Look at your daily usage on your power bill, then think about what's coming, like an EV or a pool. Send us your latest bill and we'll recommend a size based on your actual usage.
Do I need three phase power?
Yes. The Solis 29.9kW inverter is three phase, so all five packages need a three phase supply. Many larger homes already have it, and we'll confirm at your assessment.
Does the price include installation?
Yes. Every price includes the HGNESS battery, the Solis 29.9kW inverter and standard installation.
Is the rebate included in the price?
Yes, the federal rebate is already taken off. The rebate drops on 1 January 2027 and is set by your install date.
Can a battery this big power my whole home in a blackout?
It can store enough to run a large home for days. What runs in a blackout depends on which circuits we connect to backup, and we design that with you.
Can I add more battery later?
Yes. HGNESS uses 5.12kWh modules, so you can add capacity later. We'll check the inverter and stack limits when we design your system.
What warranty comes with it?
10 year battery and inverter warranty. Warranty claims go through ASB.
Is it safe to have this much battery at home?
HGNESS uses LFP cells, pack-level fire protection and an automatic foam suppression system. Every install follows Australian standards and the manufacturer's installation guide.
